He’s one and a half years old now and at that “almost there” point in his journey with us. Now the single most important thing that he needs is a loving home. He began life here in the Clarkson, Kentucky area as a kitten in one of the colonies of feral cats that we feed. You might think that being born into a feral colony should have doomed him to a very hard life devoid of affection for people but Frenchie had ideas of his own and spending his life as a feral cat wasn’t one of them! As time went on he seemed to become interested in people and eventually he became so friendly that we were able to remove him from the colony and place him in one of our foster homes! That was a great day! Skip forward to today and he has grown into a VERY friendly, “purrsonable” kitty who loves people and enjoys being with them. If you’re looking for a buddy, Frenchie is too! He has bucked the odds and we believe he has more than earned a place in a happy, loving home. Oh, and that other version of himself on the left side of his photo? That’s his inner Frenchie angel, of course! He would ideally like to find a home but he’s also available immediately to a qualified rescue and, in either case, transport to other states might be a possibility, so please don’t assume that he isn’t the guy for you just because he’s currently in Kentucky. He’d happily follow the winds of love and friendship wherever they may lead him! This handsome, lovable guy is neutered, up to date on his vaccines AND he tested negative for FeLV and FIV!
