Adrian Wyllie will be at The Villages World of Beer, 2751 West Torch Lake Drive Wildwood, FL 34785 on Monday August 25 from 6PM to 8PM as part of his 30-city campaign tour Libertarian gubernatorial candidate, Adrian Wyllie announced an ambitious statewide campaign itinerary for August. He’s launching a month-long, 30-city campaign tour, with “meet-and-greet” stops at several of Florida’s craft beer breweries and pubs. “We are taking our grassroots campaign on the road to meet Floridians, to show them that I’m for real, and that this is truly a three-way race for governor,” said Wyllie. Wyllie’s “Craft Brewery Tour” will run from August 1st through the 30th, and will take the underdog candidate from Key West to Pensacola, and all points between. The rigorous statewide tour rivals the campaign schedule of his major-party competitors, and is unprecedented for a third-party candidate in Florida. In the wake of Quinnipiac University poll placing Wyllie at 9% in a three-way race between him, Governor Rick Scott (R), and former Governor Charlie Crist (R/I/D), the campaign is seeking to capitalize on the increase in support and media attention. Free Beer from Corporate Cronyism“With Adrian’s climbing poll numbers and major press coverage, the timing of this tour couldn’t be better,” said campaign manager Danielle Alexandre, “People across the state are very excited about it.” The campaign is focusing on craft breweries in order to show support for a small-business industry that narrowly escaped financial disaster at the hands of the 2014 Florida Legislature and Gov. Scott. “As a small business owner, I know first hand the obstacles government places in our path, and how they can crush an entire industry with the stroke of a pen,” said Wyllie, “If we truly want to restore the economy and create real jobs, we first have to get government out of our way…and that’s what I intend to do as governor.” Though the campaign is operating on a tiny fraction of the funding of his big-money opponents, Wyllie doesn’t see that as a problem. “We certainly don’t have a 60-foot tour bus, we won’t be staying at five-star hotels, and we’ll probably be eating at IHOP,” Wyllie quipped, “But, that doesn’t matter to us.” “What’s important is that the people of Florida know that they have a third choice in this election…and a chance to end the corruption, and to restore economic freedom and individual liberty,” Wyllie continued. The campaign will be holding meet-and-greet events, which are open to the public and the media, at the World of Beer, 2751 West Torch Lake Drive Wildwood, FL 34785 as part of his 30-city campaign tour.
