Advice Issued For: Roses Gap, Cherrypool, Dadswells Bridge, Laharum, Ledcourt, Pomonal, Zumsteins, Wartook, Bellfield, Lake Fyans, Glenisla, Halls Gap, Brimpaen Fire Origin: 18KM SW DADSWELLS BRIDGE Incident Name: Issued: 31/01/14 12:11 PM This Advice message is being issued by Department of Environment and Primary Industries for Roses Gap, Cherrypool, Dadswells Bridge, Laharum, Ledcourt, Pomonal, Zumsteins, Wartook, Bellfield, Lake Fyans, Glenisla, Halls Gap, Brimpaen. The Northern Grampians Complex fire has not expanded over the past five days and is now contained at 55,100 hectares with a perimeter of 257kms. There is still active fire within the fire perimeter and residents need to remain alert. Fire crews will be actively working on the fire edge all day. Please be aware and take care around fire vehicles, equipment and ground crews working in the area. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. Motorists are requested to obey Traffic Management signs. Stay up to date with road closures at vicroads.vic.gov.au. The Grampians National Park is open. Visit parks.vic.gov.au for details on some areas within the park that remain closed. GWM Water advises that the notice to boil water issued on 17 January 2014 is now rescinded for Halls Gap and Pomonal Residents. For more information visit the GWM Water webstie gwmwater.org.au.
