After 4 days, 42 hours of drive time, 2,800 miles, 10 states, 280 dollars in gas, and 65 dollars in road tolls, Im finally in Washington DC. Well, in Maryland, but close by nonetheless. The east coast is definitely much different, I was grocery shopping today and some old dude purposely dropped a fruit cup next to me to spark a conversation and asked, are you a free guy so I said, sure not really knowing what he meant. He then asked, wanna come over to my house, Ill show you a good time not really knowing how to react I just told him Im good, but thanks and he went on his way. If this happened in the first day Im here, I can only assume and prepare for even more outlandish encounters.
