After MACG, I have come to terms that while I may not be a good singer like my other Uta-Nakamas, its the thrill of the performance and wowing the crowd that gets me going, and I look at everything as a performance, even if its a competition. When I chose Jiyuu no Tsubasa, I know the length of the song would lose audience attention, which is why I thought up of the wings gimmick (aibro Tessie Tan suggested the glitterbombing which totally added to the wow wwwwww). Perhaps a tip to future performers: when the mic dies on you, dont make it look like you forgot the lyrics. Alert EVERYONE that the mic died on you (tapping furiously on the mic head is the best indicator) and continue singing. Make yourself heard. Sing with everything you got. Project and show them you are passionate about what youre performing. Until you get a replacement mic, just sing. Just putting out my thoughts and two pence. Heres to my Uta-Nakama.
