After a long week of Oil and more Oil in our beloved Arava, it is great to be out today in a different atmosphere and see the Arava as it should be! At least 5 million liters of crude oil were spilled and flowing into the wonderful Evrona Reserve, 2.5 Km from the house. As part of the measures to stop the flow was to create containers which were later got pumped out. It will take few more months before all the contamination will get clear and few more years to restore the reserve. We are optimistic and hope for better days and for a great Spring which will clear the air and bring more smiles and many birds and birders.
