After a very poor start to the season and the almost demise of the club, we are happy to report we are on the mend. After a advertising campaign we are happy to report that the villages of Sedgefield, Fishburn and Ferryhill provided a vital life line of new young players keeping the club alive and giving us a bright future. Some of the new starters have never actually played rugby before but they are coming on well and are enjoying the social side of the sport. With the new younger generation of the side brining along mates the second half of the season is bound to be good. With the latest string of defeats being of narrow margins a win is just on the horizon for the new look side. With now good numbers training every Thursday at the school we have also restarted the Tuesday night boxing session for extra fitness. So if you fancy a new year with a new sport and social circle pop along to a training session or even a match.
