After being awakened by ear-piercing screams from my two year old in the middle of the night and getting him settled again, it has been a waste of time lying in bed, trying to sleep. The thoughts that come crowding in during the night were not helping me to return to sleep. God knows us. God hears us! He knows each thought we think, each breath we take! It was nice to read this from Paul Tripp, concerning our need for a constant focus on our Redeemer.
