After successfully taking care of pressing business matters yesterday, Jimmy and I decided to make a Date Afternoon and see the movie Son of God. After having seen Passion of Christ, it was a big disappointment. The actor portraying Jesus did a good job. There were scenes and actual incidents from the Bible that dont correlate with what I believe to be true. Go if you like. But, if you do,let me know how you see it. We left as the crucifixion scene began. We didnt like the scenes shown. I know Mel Gibson made a lot of public disappointments in his personal character following the movie Passion of Christ, but that movie displayed sermons I heard over the years about the arrest, torture and crucifixion of Christ. Like I said, if you venture to see this new show, let me know what you think.
