After watching Satyamev Jayate today, i felt even more helpless that I dont have anything in my hands to stop my nation being looted like this by corrupt politicians who are elected by me..So what is it that will stop this mess....What Right do i have that i can use it to stop criminals , communal and corrupt dont go to the Parliament and State Assemblies , its my VOTE.. So here are my thoughts on my Vote , please take your time to read it .. Vote: Your vote is the key to the treasures of democracy. Its the primary power to many powers you get under the Constitution. Your vote is like a WILL promised by our founders which gives you enormous powers and various rights given under the Constitution. Which is why, you should think hundred times when giving away. Think ,if you are giving your precious vote wisely. Is it for the right person, is it for the right party? Think about your candidate, whether he will give you them rights as promised under the Constitution. Your vote gives your candidate an opportunity to do something beneficial for you and not for him.But is it happening like that these days? No. Infact, your vote is being used for his own and his famliy’s benefit and you remain as poor as deprived as ever, evenmore. If you want to value your vote then compare it with a new flyover, which will be use to ease traffic congestion in your city or town. Compare your vote with a new functioning ,fully equipped hospital, which will provide you a free and efficient healthcare. Compare your vote with a new corruption free Police station, which will keep you secure from crimes ,accidents and incidents like terror attacks. Compare your note with a new railway station, new roads, compare it with a better Municipal authority, a better Grampanchayat, which will look after providing efficient public sanitation system, proper drainage system and proper sewage system. Compare your vote with working efficient New Courts where you can get speedy justice. Compare your vote with new government schools, where your children can acquire quality education which in turn will provide secure employment for them. Don’t sell your vote, but if you want to sell then sell it for above things, which will improve your living standards and not on caste, region and religion. Your Neta never meets you, he doesn’t care about you and your needs, he became arrogant, but think who makes him arrogant, its your Vote. Please remember in democracy, your vote is the only thing which is counted, so its very important Right you have and its your only Right. So why waste for small gains, use it for larger benefit. True meaning of democracy is power in the hands of people and your vote is the only thing which can give you that power, power to rule you and rule for you. You have to decide to whom you will give your power, is he or she a good candidate and suitable enough to rule over you. Its your future you are giving away in somebody’s hands , so give it wisely and don’t trade your vote for few hundred rupees, for caste, for religion or for region. Vote is the only thing which will give you a dignified life with all civil rights, which cannot be taken away by any corrupt police or a hooligan, who might barge in your home at anytime of the day or night and suppress you like animal. If you want to live peacefully ,with a bright future for your children and a better living standards then spend your Vote wisely. Time for a change and you will make that change by pressing the right button on the EVM by chosing a clean and honest candidate.. Vote for honesty, vote for unity and vote for stability
