After watching two pretty awful short films set during WWI, I stumbled upon this excellent docu-drama (not a phrase you hear often) from 2006. A few wee problems (I spied a No. 4 rifle there for a second, maybe a few Mk II helmets) are outweighed by great attention to detail, while the dramatic sequences are well written and well acted. When the end credits rolled, I saw that Taff Gillingham was the historical advisor, and his trench set was used for the principal location. youtube/watch?v=1HYKGuTwdjg
