Age I was given: 21 Where I lived: Bristol What I drove: Mini Countryman - honest! What I did: I had finally left full time education after a succession of really dreadful experiences - like studying A Level maths with an applied maths teacher who couldnt teach squirrels to climb trees and A Level physics with no teacher at all! All this followed by a disastrous electrical engineering course because some total div in the local authority didnt realise that that was not quite the same as electronic engineering. Just accidentally fell into photographic retail and was making enough money to have a good time. Who had my heart: Nobody really. Was really happy in the company of a very tall and slender lady but she was a devout catholic and I was (still am) a devout atheist. There was just no way to bridge what was a yawning chasm. I have to say that that experience really turned me against religion of every kind. Age Now: Not working but no state pension either :) Where I live: Carmarthen, West Wales What I drive: A Vauxhall Ampera Electron. Zero VED and such a fantastic fuel consumption that Im having difficulty making full use of my Tesco fuel discount! What I do: Drink to excess, smoke massive Havana cigars, race lorries and train heavy horses to walk tight ropes.
