Ah yes, another Saturday that the weather could have gone either way. The siren song of the big V Twin outside was a tune too strong to resist, it’s time! And ride we did, first a short trip on my own, a reconnoitre at the facility where our beloved canine will be spending a few days while we travel to thanksgiving with family. Travel you say? Road trip? Saddle up and ride? Sadly no, it’s an aircraft that will transport us on this particular journey. Well the temporary critter housing was acceptable so home to attach the long awaited and sometime lamented backrest and to lunch we did go, stopping along the way for a photo op. I figured that since I’ve often refered to my decidedly better half I should include her in a photo so I wouldn’t be considered to be the guy who took “The Sweater” to prom. (A little camera shy, thus hence the non-removal of the helmet.) The fact is, it’s coming up on twenty nine years ago this lovely human being actually said “I Do”, I know right? Whoda thunk it! Well, lunch we did and then it was off again on my own to bring more Cariboo landmarks to those who have sadly never had the chance to have the experience firsthand.
