Pookalae sattru Oyevedu sung by Haricharan & Shreya Ghoshal is the most pleasant one in this album...Haricharans voice is refreshing & AR Rahman use of instruments is exceptional, giving out a feel good experience.....Thumbs Up! Madhan Karkys lyric certainly deserves a standing ovation with voice lent in by none other than Shreya Ghoshal..Thumbs Up! Best in this album! Mersalayittaen sung by Anirudh & Neeti Mohan is high on tempo & equally melodious...Anirudh as usual has delivered a kicker....Thumbs up...Music in this song, though nice, looks before heard.....Anirudhs voice is the major USP here...Violins usage has been more of a perfect type in this song..Lyrics by Kabilan is joyful & innovative... Ennodu Nee Irunthaal comprises of a mix of symbols, piano & flute, used up in an excellent proportion...The music @ the start itself sets the platform for the chorus filled top class song sung by Sriram & Sunitha Sarathy penned by Kabilan once again...The use of electric guitar in between increases the feel good factor of the song... Once again, impressive lyrics steals the show....The song ends up on a high note, which makes the audience crazy.... Ladio sung by Nikita Gandhi penned by the new generation lyricist Madhan Karky requires a bit more time & effort from the audience to grasp it....This DJ type song composed by ARR certainly deserves appreciation for the way it has shaped in...This club type song is certainly a good one, but not the best.... Aila Aila sung by Canadian singer, Natalie Di Luccio fails to impress, but who knows, when video releases, this perception may change... 2 Reprises Mersalayittaen & Pookalae sattru Oyyvedu doesnt seem to be in much of variance from the original song, rather than certain cuts and pace.... Verdict: 4/5.....AR Rahman strikes chords.....Brand ARR is back!
