I think people forget how relative training and nutrition is to the individual. Theres are 100 ways to train and 100 ways to eat. Someone who trains at night needs to eat different than someone who trains in the AM. Different forms of training need different forms of eating in order to yield optimal performance/results. There are a few crucial building blocks that do apply to everyone (we ALL need to recover for our next workout for example... quicker recovery comes with adequate carbohydrate consumption) but there is no set of rules that works for everyone given how different we all are. Our nutrition and training is often based on personal preference and trail and error. For example, whether you workout fasted or unfasted may play a big role in results and progress... neither one is right nor wrong. By applying science and some personal experimentation, you need to find what works for YOU. I know theres a TON of info and it can get confusing but the reason there is so much info is because so many things have worked so differently for so many people. Dont be close minded when it comes to nutrition methods and training methods... Learn the basics, continue to gain knowledge, and dont be afraid to try nothing with your training and diet.
