Alafia good people: Im posting this message from the Peace and Healing Initiative page. Please pay attention and follow the advise of Orisha as it is consistent with what we experienced at our gathering also. Yeye Miguel Willie Ramos Yesterday at 8:04am · Miami, FL · Edited Messages from the orishas from Miami´s wemilere for World Peace and Healing. We were visited by over ten Obatalás, who were joined by several Oshúns, two Yemojás, Elegbá, and Ogún. Just a few left messages for the community at large, auguries and prescriptions that assuaged our worries and reinforced our belief in what we had accomplished. Obatalá Oshaogiyán told us that we had begun a process that was going to be effective. He stressed that now our purpose and resolve must be unyielding. That we had to continue on the road that we embarked upon and that he, along with the other orishas, would ensure that our prayers, and above all, the sacrifice made by our communities, would reach orún and Olodumare. As he was ‘’departing,’’ he took the hands of several of the olorishas that were present in the room and placed them together. He asked them to continue this unification that had brought us together for this mission that he would be observing our sincerity and desire to go forward as his children. Obatalá Alagema augured that our resolve and determination would be compensated but that we had to continue to build upon this initiative. He asked us to be careful of the information that we are receiving about our world and its current state, and to ensure that we are just, not rash, so that we can live and prosper. He announced that we were going to see more turmoil in the world, but that we could rest assured that the orishas and ancestors would protect us. Alagema asked that throughout 2015, olorishas offer mounds of merengue or yam to Obatalá and Ogún so that they can pacify the ills of the world and help us to grow and live in peace. In addition, oloshas should cover Ogún with white cloth to receive the new year. Oshún Oló Lodí, who mounted an iyalorisha of over 68 years of osha, thanked us for what we had done and promised to provide support. She said Obatalá was the medium, but that she was the messenger who would make it all possible. Stressing that she was not Ibú Ikolé—messenger of the Oshúns—Oshún said that she and her sister were going to convey the supplications to Olodumare, as only Oshún can sweeten up the Creator when all else fails. Initially, she said that her visit would be brief, but apparently she enjoyed the wemilere so much that she remained with us until the end. Ogún scolded oloshas for not listening for not heeding his words when, in January 2014, he spoke to the community at a wemilere and asked them to prepare for a year of disease, death, harsh difficulties, and tribulations. He stressed that we had a way to go yet, but that he would also convey our prayers to Olodumare. Interestingly, Ogún referred to the current political situation between Cuba and the United States. He spoke about unity, the overriding theme, and said that we had to pray to make sure that the island would find peace and prosperity. #oloshasunitedmessagesMIA2014
