All quotes from Sentinel Kulps Book, Up To Jerusalem. There has never been any doubt about Gods ability to rule from the heavens. But with Satans rebellion God lost earth...And He wants it back! Through the fall God lost the man that was suppose to reclaim the earth. Thus God had a need. He needed to find another man - a man that would be willing to assume the position or posture requisite for reclaiming and holding the territory that had been lost. In other words, God needed a man that would both live and walk through faith. The New Testament identifies that man as a corporate entity. In his battle against the kings Abraham achieved a great victory. His declaration to the king of Sodom was, I have lifted up my hand unto The Lord most High, possessor of heaven and earth (Genesis 14:22). Why did he make such a statement? It was the first time since The Fall that God had attained the man He needed - a man that could make a stand, in faith, and claim the land on His behalf. Years later that same land - the land of Canaan - became the token of Gods claim upon the whole earth. As long as Israel walked in faith they were able to keep or hold the territory. But when they lived in disobedience, then their claim to the land became forfeit. In other words, their ability to hold the land was dependent upon their faithfulness to God. Eventually, through a history of disobedience and gross neglect, the nation of Israel lost the right and privilege thy had to hold the land. So God evicted them. The word of Nehemiah confirm this: I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days. I fasted and prayed before the GOD OF HEAVEN, and said, I beseech thee, O Lord, THE GOD OF HEAVEN... (Neh. 1:4,5). God had lost what He needed. He no longer had a man that could hold the territory for Him. Hence, He is only referred to as THE GOD OF HEAVEN. The day is coming when the earth will go back to God (Rev. 11:5/ I Cor. 15:24,25). Jesus said so! Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth (Matt. 5:5). These meek ones are counted as part of the one new man made up of Christ and His body - those that have been faithful to follow after Him; those that have been willing to engage in the work and warfare of winning the territory back to God. The Gospel of Grace pertains to the salvation of sinners; the Gospel of The Kingdom concerns the reclamation of a land - taking the territory back for God. Whenever and wherever a group of saints are willing to make a stand IN FAITH on behalf of God, an entitlement authority is granted to reclaim and occupy. This entitlement is borne out to others through a testimony of victorious Christian living. Walking in faith is the equivalent of carrying a warrant concerning Gods sovereign right to the whole of the earth. It provides the authority and power required to take back and hold the land on His behalf.
