All this talk about taxes and how to handle it. Who to tax? Should we tax the rich? Should we tax small businesses? Hmmmm... Lets see, how about we tax the churches! It makes me sick that churches dont pay taxes. Its estimated that the country would make close to 100 billion dollars per year if they had to pay taxes, which means the average middle class American would have to pay less taxes. That is also enough money to pay for all the food for every welfare recipient in the country. I think the church needs to ask themselves what would Jesus do I think he would want to feed hungry. I also dont think its fair that my taxes are literally higher all because an organization that serves no purpose to me what so ever gets a break.
