All wars are terrible, wars may be inevitable. But surely the worst wars are civil wars (by the way what is civil about a civil war. The involvement of American military in the Syria conflict, civil war, is a dangerous error. The time to act has come and gone. Washington has committed the fallacy of decision by indecision. When turkey was fired upon, Turkey being a NATO member, that was the time to act. The international community is not with us. I fear we may have reached the point, whatever we do, it will be the wrong thing. I hope for once common sense and not arrogance will prevail.
