#AllThingsHolly #4 of my favorite Dollywood costumes: The Big Brilliant Beautiful Pink Jolene dress from PARADISE ROAD Now most of you that know me, know I take my fashion sense from the great Dolly Parton-- I along with Dolly dont care whats in style--I absolutely love anything thats bright, gaudy, and sparkly!!! This whole ensemble is all that and more! This beautiful floor length sparkly pink creation really represented Dolly during her Jolene days. The wig was one of my favorites of the whole show! It was breathtaking on stage and I always had so much fun singing to the dancers that portrayed Jolene and my man she was taking. My favorites will always be Toscha Stinnett Chandler and Wayne Lawerence! We had the best time giving mean looks to one another HA! This was just a borrowed costume--Paige Thomason Bales was the original Jolene singer but she had a bad knee injury one season and I got to swing the part for a few months--her misfortune gave me one of my most cherished moments on stage (thanks Paige)!!!! I always wanted to keep this outfit but somewhere I heard it was sold on Ebay.......
