Although I liked the DooWop show last night I have to admit half the show was non-Doo Wop. While the Drifters, the Happenings, and Lou Christie are good groups and singers they are more late 60s rock and not DooWop. And Lou Christie turned out to be the main act. I go for the old DooWop and A Cappella music. I guess as the guys are getting older and dying out, it harder to get a show going without filling it in with other oldies. I did enjoy the Skyliners, the Coasters, the Capris and the Marcels. It was really great hearing the Coasters do Yakkity Yak and Charlie Brown. Heres a sample I shot last night of the Capris singing Theres a Moon Out Tonight. I tried to film other songs but my I Phone ran outta disc space.
