Amazing!!! Thanks to our friends at the Sweet Pea Project for sharing... the words of the zookeeper took my breath away. It seemed so natural, so right that they allow the gorillas time to grieve and to spend time with their sweet baby JUST as it is right and natural for us to do the same. If we can allow gorillas this time, we can certainly allow human mommas this time..... and this time lasts a lifetime. Yes grief looks different each month and year it is experienced, but one thing remains the same...each family needs their time to really understand what happened as stated by the zookeeper.
