Amazing grace! 2014 is gone and 2015 is here. Many people died in the past year. But for Gods grace most of us would have been dead too. Life is so precious. No matter the problems we went through in 2014 we owe the Lord loads of gratitude for sustaining us. Beloved, our God is good. It is always refreshing to know that He does not hate us. He loved us so much by providing us with His only begotten Son. Consider the manner of love He has for us and give Him thanks. Let us all aspire to live for Him in 2015. He is aware of all our weaknesses. When we sin let us run back to Him in humility and true repentance. He will forgive us and grant us the necessary strength to move on. The Holy Spirit is ready to aid us. Apart from living for God in this old sinful world everything else is vanity and grasping for the wind. With all the blessings He showered on us in the past year we sinned against Him. We disappointed Him so many times. We did not deserve to live but because of His grace we are still alive. Let us quit complaining then about the things we dont have. But rather let us continually count our blessings by being thankful to Him for the things we do have. We are not alive today because we are good. Rather,we have lived to see 2015 because our God is good. Amazing grace! Lord thank you for life. Thank you for forgiveness. Thank you for health. Thank you for solutions. And above all, thank you for this unmeritted favor. We need you Lord. Life is empty and meaningless without you. Please, draw us near the cross at all times this year. Grant us more grace and illumination to live for you. We are weak but you are mighty. Help us Lord to work for you this year. We dont want to take your grace for granted. Let us all thank the Lord for the gift of a new year. Simply, its just grace mixed with mercy. May the Lord bless us all this year. In the name of the One and the only One who was willing to die in our stead. Jesus, the Christ who paid it all on Calvary for us, I have prayed. Amen. Afihyiapa. Dan
