American Commentary: A Raging Epidemic Sickness We Call American Society The problems we are experiencing throughout our beloved American society are the symptoms of a raging sickness. Humanity, wellness and love of family are being replaced by the desire for things, wealth and power. Schools and colleges have a curriculum but do not teach. Government thrives on spending and doesn’t care about the citizenry paying the taxes. Large businesses only see the bottom line and not loyalty of the workers. Banks and financial institutions all want the lenders to fail. Many religions who should take care of the poor and hurting are more worried about building the huge church buildings and social clubs. Medicine is only a way to sell the expensive pharmaceuticals and not to heal. And individuals just want the latest gadgetry no matter the expense. Children are growing up without parenting or good guidance. The whole system is crumbling.
