American Strays Canine Survey & Treasure Hunt! https://facebook/events/161327950726739/ 50 teams of at least 2 people will compete for prizes and raise money for their favorite animal non profit while finding stray Dogs in the city of Detroit. Prizes given for; most accurate science, most Dogs photographed, number of points obtained, amount of money pledged and collected, etc. Each of the 50 teams will be required to fill pledge sheets, half of the pledged money will go to the American Strays project, half to the animal welfare charity of your choosing. The actual Canine Survey & Treasure Hunt will run over the course of 2 days (Saturday & Sunday September 21 & 22, 2013 from 8 to 4 each day. Data will be collected at the end of each day. The American Strays Canine Survey & Treasure Hunt will run September 21 beginning at 8:00 am and end September 22 at 4:00 pm, both days are 8 - 4. The American Strays Canine Survey & Treasure Hunt is a full 8 hour x 2 day event that is the precursor to a national annual canine survey. Help us make history in the Motor City.
