An accidental family shooting over the weekend sent a 73-year old man to the hospital. Rapid City Police say a 23-year old man accidentally fired his gun through both of his grandfather’s legs Saturday afternoon. The victim had no life-threatening injuries and police say he did not want to press charges against his grandson. And police were called to St. Therese Catholic Church in Rapid City shortly after the start of 5:30 mass on Saturday. Police say a 28-year old man went to the second floor balcony, singing loudly and causing a disturbance, then climbing on the balcony rail, looking like he was going to jump. Church ushers restrained him until police arrived. The man was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
