An organisation formed on the lines of Mahatma Gandhi and his principles of SWARAJ Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a political party in India which was formed on October the 2nd 2012 as a political alternative to curb corruption in the Indian administration and the government. They came with a view of introducing JAN LOK PAL bill in order to achieve its goal. This aims to strictly punish corrupt politicians who are now free of any legal actions since such cases run pending in the Indian courts for more than a decade. In a country where democracy means voting once every year and then struggling to get work done after elections from the very person voted for. This party wants to reverse the system where the common people will be given the RIGHT TO RECALL of representatives who do dot fullfil their promises in the manifesto. There are other ideologies which this newly formed party brings forward such as decentralisation of power which means the common man of the country be given more chances to participate and suggest reforms to the government by introducing SWARAJ bill. This aim will be fulfilled by giving power to Mohallas and Gram sabhas to help them decide where the fund they get be utilized according to their needs. This will prevent allocation of funds into unnecessary works and rather used for more important works which the people living in the area know better than the person sitting far away in an office in Delhi. This is AAP- Michigan chapter to promote the ideologies of this party to Indians living in Michigan.
