And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And his brethren said to him, shalt thou indeed reign over us? Or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us?...(Genesis 37 vs 5,8). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. Our Focal Scripture announces the fact that Joseph dreamt a dream. He had a dream but had no interpretation. He had a dream but he had no explanation for it. Notice that after Joseph told his dream, his brothers gave him an interpretation. He told his dream, and they interpreted it to mean that he would rule over them in time to come and they were absolutely correct. They gave expression to his dreams. It was quite obvious that they were interpreting the dream with bitterness and envy,but they did it anyway. God says, as you push forth your dream, men will interpret it for you. As you chase after the passion that God planted in you, men will offer help freely to you. As you implement the ideas that God has given you,men will add value to your venture. As you do something about your passion, visions, ideas etc, you shall experience unprecedented patronage in what you have set your heart to do. Dont give up on your dream even if it seems impossible to accomplish. Dont hide your dream because you feel no one will take you serious. Your dream is a seed for a future harvest. If your dream hasnt taken sleep from your eyes, you may not have taken it very seriously! Embrace it, believe it, share it, keep working towards it, and in a matter of time, your generation and even your haters will interpret your dream.
