Anger is a natural phenomenon. At times venting out your frustration is good, but knowing how to control it, is equally crucial. When you become angry, your blood pressure rises up and your breathing becomes heavier, which can lead to an increased risk of heart diseases. The digetive system also gets affected, appetite decreases due to hyperacidity. Extreme anger can cause stress hormones to increase sugar levels. Mostly mental health is affected very adversely. Some methods to stay cool when you get angry with someone 1.Drink a glass of water and wash your face with cold water. It help you to calm down. 2. Count upto 10. Counting of numbers will not only cool your temper but it will also calm you down. 3. Repeat phrases like take it easy relax, stay cool etc. 4. Take a break from the person you are angry with for few minutes. Avoid banging down doors, windows or anything that comes in your way. 5. Go for a brisk walk or run a short distance. Physical activity provides an outlet for your emotions.6. Express your anger only when you calm down, it is perfectly healthy to express your frustration in a non-confrontational way. 6. Use humour to release tensions 7, Reading or talking to your loved ones will also help you take your thoughts off negative anger.
