Anon please: I just wanted the advice or view from other parents that have a child with someone they arent with. My question is how are you supposed to answer your child when he says mommy I love you but I dont love daddy completely out of nowhere or I dont like my daddy (because I told him to never use the word hate for that reason). I dont know if I should be concerned or perhaps its just a faze. It really hurts me to hear him say these things and I dont really know how to handle it. He also never wants to go over to his fathers house anymore and tells me he wishes that the person that I am with now was his dad. The last thing I want is for my child not to love his father or be close with him. I also think he is way to young to be thinking these kinds of things. I try to confront his father about it but also try to sugar code it for the sake of his feelings and knowing how he is it would become a fight (Im making it up kinda thing). Any input is appreciated! I dont want my son to feel this way what so ever. Thank you
