Another comment about Monuments Men: Jonathan Nielsen recently posted a comment about an experience in class, where the students in his classroom seemed to have no sense of history beyond events of the past two months. Similar comments have been posted elsewhere. What makes Monuments Men special is that it helps us realize the importance of knowing and appreciating our history and our culture -- and how close we came to losing so much of it. Kudos to George Clooney for making this film a personal project of his -- and to make sure we dont lose the history of the men who chose this mission.
