Another happy story to share:) Hi Sara at the front desk and everyone else, I just wanted to let you all know how we are making out in our new home. We LOVE it here!!!!! Mom and Dad stayed up with us all night the day they adopted us. They weren’t sure where we were going to sleep, but Rascal (formally known as Lou) climbed up onto the table between their recliners and slept on the newspaper that was there. Muggins (formally known as Augustine) and I soon joined him. We were just a bunch of fur. Mom calls it the pile-up! Mom and Dad have fuzzy blankets that they spread on their laps and that’s really comfy. They gave us some great toys to play with, but the best one is an empty soda box. Muggins really had Mom wondering what that noise was she heard one day. It was my sister batting the box at one end and it went round and round in a circle. All Mom heard was Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat. What’s really funny is when Rascal gets in the box and we JUMP on the box. He sticks his paw out and we tease him with our paws. After a few days Mom and Dad let us go upstairs and sleep with them on the big bed. COOL! We really like that. When Mom gets up, we lead the parade down the stairs and run to our place mat. Mom picks us up and kisses us and tells us how much she loves us and then she feeds us. After that, of course, she has to go clean our box. They got us a cat tree that has 5 levels. I was the first one to make it to the top, but now my brother and sister can make it too. We sleep there together a lot. Mom has packed up several breakables and Dad has been busy catching us when we try to make it out the door! Hmmm, oh well, there’s so much more to do here! We have shredded a curtain or two but they still love us I have to take a catnap now. Send me back a reply so I know you got this because I’m not sure I’m doing it right. This is my first attempt at emailing on a computer. So I hope to hear from you and…. Wait a minute….here comes Mom…What?...You will?...YIPPEE! Sara, Mom says she’ll attach some pictures of us and then email this to you. I wish all the other cats could come here because it’s the best place ever. Thank goodness for the shelter or we wouldn’t be here! WOW, did we all get lucky or what? Oh we can’t wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
