Another nice morning that God gave for Bailey and I to go walking. I really like these cool July mornings, but I am afraid they will not last. As we were walking Bailey spied some rabbits in the side yard of a home we were passing. It appeared to be a family as there were two larger rabbits and 3 small bunnies. Since Bailey is a Beagle, she was born to hunt and immediately took off but quickly reached the end of her leash. Seeing these bunnies reminds me of all of Gods beautiful creatures and that each has a purpose in His creation. A little over 52 years, the most beautiful woman in the world made me the happiest man in the world when she became my wife. This happened roughly 7 years after I asked he to marry me, in the 5th grade. I was promptly told Not if you were the last person on earth!. It took awhile but I finally got her and it has been worth it. Not that it was always easy, because it wasnt. We had our share of trials, as do most marriages, but we both understood what the Bible says. In Mark 10:6-9 it reads But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” We are told, also, that the church is the bride of Christ. As Christians, we are the church, therefore we have been joined together with Him. Just as we are to remain faithful to our earthly spouse, we are to remain faithful to Christ. And those that remain faithful to Him are promised a home in Heaven.
