Another scam to watch for. From another friend. A friend of mine got an aggressive call from a roofer telling her he drove by her house and her roof was bad ect. I had her call the police and they said they had several complaints about it. Apparently these people call the resident or come to the door directly and say theyve got a problem that has to be fixed right now, then aggressively try to collect money in advance to fix it. Sometimes it works too. The police department says they get calls about this pretty routinely. Please dont accept offers from stranger try to do work done on your house. You know your house, if you suspect something, call someone reputable and local.
