Another unique problem with my 2010 #Nissan Cube. This just started today. It is almost as if some function got accidentally (dis)engaged by my 3-year-old. All the sudden both of our intelligent key/key fob will not lock the doors or accurate the alarm, but they will unlock the car. Also, the buttons on the exterior door handles that allow you to lock/unlock the doors will not work. This model has the keyless ignition, so the version of reprogramming the remotes by googling this wont work. The car will start and operate with the intelligent keys in every other way as usual. When you push the ignition switch to turn the car off, and open a door, the car beeps as if to remind you the key is in the car, but after you exit the vehicle, it continues to beep. When you shut the door it beeps three times. You can only lock the doors by using the manual locks or pushing the lock/unlock function on the inside of the front doors. Tried checking the door switches and they seem to function normally. Interestingly enough, once the ignition is on, you can lock and unlock with the key fob, so long as the car is running. The batteries are all fully functional. HELP! Read the manual and looked online. I can not find a solution to this specific issue.
