Antisemitism clarified one more time. I was defriended last night by a pro-Israel Zionist for likening Israels crimes to those of the fascists in WW2. It is a valid parallel. A former friend, for whom I have a lot of respect, called me antisemitic and sneakily defriended me. No dice, you are wrong. Zionists: you pretend it is antisemitic to criticise the government of Israel and draw parallels with other fascistic regimes. Then you feign being offended. How *dare* you make it about your hurt feelings, with six hundred dead Palestinians littering the Gaza strip. This isnt about you, Zionist. It is about murdering Palestinians. Do not turn victim and abuser around, and DO NOT accuse people of antisemitism because they criticise the government of Israel for its crimes. This isnt about YOU. Zionists, develop a sense of decency, borne of empathy and moral proportion, please. Some perspective from Professor Norman Finkelstein: This is not about some construction of memory. This is about people using history for their political purposes. There is no New Antisemitism. This is pure fabrication. There is a creation of a New Antisemitism to serve the same purpose as was used for the past twenty years. The Holocaust Industry; to divert attention from whats being done to the Palestinians, so everybody is talking about the New Antisemitism, instead of whats being done to the Palestinians. And in a wonderful inversion, to turn Israel and its supporters into the victims and turn the Palestinians and their supporters into the victimisers. Turning reality totally on its head.
