Any one knowledgable in the court system? I left my dog at someones house intending to give it to her and she has a text message proving this. However, she is not taking care of the dog properly and has it around an unvaccinated 7 mo. old dog that has never been to a vet. The dogs paperwork and everything is still under my name...I called the cops and went to her house and the cop told me even though I have the paperwork and rabies certificate and its under my name, that I have to go to civil court to get the dog back.
