Anyone who talks shit about a trending cause for a positive outcome (Ice Bucket, etc.) probably doesnt get the concept of the bigger picture, Its not about dumping ice on your head. Also its obvious the physical act of dumping the ice on your head will not benefit the actual progression of any disease.. Sure. But its the awareness that is being campaigned for. (indirect outcome) The fact you even know what the hell Im talking about right now, proves its already done what it was supposed to do, make people aware.. The more that are aware, the more money will ultimately be raised, which is happening. The ALS Association has already received over $16 million in donations between July 29th and Aug 19th, compared to its usual meager earnings. Your favorite household names are all joining in on the fun, and money is being raised for a disease you should hope to never deal with. If youre on here saying negative things about that, I dont really even know what to say. Stop being cynical and live a little, have a little fun.. Break monotony, instead of downing others that want to be a part of something that can help people. With all that said.. You bet your ass were doing it today. AND we are gonna donate at least $100 to the ALS foundation, because walking is better than talking. So if you do do the challenge, try to donate a little as well, and screw anyone that has anything bad to say about it..
