Appreciation Friday! I would like to take some time to share with you a little bit about what I do. Ive have the incredible opportunity to work with this amazing family of 5 a little over a year now. They have welcomed me into their family as if I was one of their own. I never knew how fulfilling it could be to interact with kids, especially in the kitchen. I try to involve them as much as possible with food prep & when I do its so rewarding for all of us. A sense of appreciation comes into them & they are so much more excited about it when they get in there. I truly believe getting kids in the kitchen brings so much value into their lives in so many ways. Not to mention a great opportunity to develop a deeper connection that continues throughout their meal with their family. This is a big philosophy of #slowfoods - something Im very passionate about & feel super grateful I can share & continue so much of what I believe in with others.
