April 1st is always a day of rejoicing for me...11 years ago I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer...and wow all I can say is look at GOD! At first the doctors didnt know what was wrong, they ran all kinds of test, removed a mass from my neck, placed a tube in my chest to drain fluid, only to diagnose me and immediately start chemotherapy...BUT GOD! Doctors told my parents I wouldnt be able to ever work with children because my immune system had been so compromised...BUT GOD!!! (TODAY IM A TEACHER ON PURPOSE AND BY PROFESSION) 6 months after that I was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure, 3 months later 6 weeks of radiation, then 3 months after that I had open heart surgery...all that...BUT GOD!!!! I wondered if I would ever be able to finish college...I graduated from Oakland University last year! You may never understand my praise and thats quite alright, but everyday I wake up I am reminded that God went to calvary JUST FOR ME! HE TOOK EVERY STRIPE, JUST FOR ME! I REMEMBER THE PRICE THAT HE PAID, JUST FOR ME!!! EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE PRICE THAT HE PAID...AND YOU KNOW WHAT?
