Are you freaking kidding me. This is an absolutely stunning video - TopicsExpress

Are you freaking kidding me. This is an absolutely stunning video of our own Milky Way galaxy and in detail maps it out, its elements, how it is done and how astronomy is growing. This is only about 18 months old and is well worth watching. If you are thinking about doing something to waste time, watch this, it will amaze you, and let you know how lucky and important we are here on the outpost of the Milky Way. I knew some of these things, but most of it, although I study science a lot, not science fiction, which I find totally boring and draws attention away from real science, I actually had no idea about much of this new technology. I am hopeful now that one day before I die I may know something really important that will bring me to a great awareness of the reality of me, or us, of our evolution through the study of the stars and how sad we should feel that we have spent 3 trillion on wars instead of our infrastructure and more about the reality of who we are, how our earth was formed, how old it is, nailed down to a very short error rate and the proof that a fantasy god does not exist. It made me feel so small yet the magical awareness of us to be able to comprehend our own Milky Way galaxy is astounding. So pull up a chair. The real pictures and animated ones from actual data are amazing. It can excite us all from the boring mundane lives we often live. I offer this video for you on the day of the largest moon we will see this year. One I have spent the last 2 hours just looking at in awe and wonder. Talk about a spiritual experience. I feel more spiritually fulfilled through the knowledge of our universe and the magnificence and splendor of its mysteries uncovered on almost a daily basis. We are finding planets all the time. It is like we have found so many planets we are proving that there are a trillion planets in just our milky way galaxy. Think of that! A trillion stars in just our galaxy! I am in heaven in my mind today. Knowing that at least I lived at a time when we knew some of the truths about the wonder of it all. And we do not have to live under the superstition offered by iron age and bronze age religious books that offer us absolutely nothing. Just that our world was a circle, like a pancake and not a globe or a sphere. Astounding! Can you tell I am excited about this video. Just the right timing for me.
