Arguing with an Anarcho-Capitalist over children in a voluntary society and the non-aggression principle: The fact that you fail to recognize how the non-aggression principle cannot even hold up in a micro-community (such as a family) proves that youre incapable of seeing its failures when expanded to larger communities. I brought up the question of a parent administering medicine to a child because that act is a form of coercion. In this case, the parent would be violating that childs bodily autonomy and acting without consent. However, were smart enough to understand that children dont possess the knowledge nor intelligence to make decisions about whats best for them, which is why we afford parents the legal right to act on their behalf (even if those acts are administered by force). Oh, and we dont need to bring down the NAP. Its nothing more than a poorly thought out paper experiment that has no practical chance of ever becoming real. Anarcho-Capitalism is the philosophical version of Dungeons and Dragons.
