Arise the sons of the soil of imo state. The charity of our political leader is not in the security of your better future as youth, no wonder they bother less about the educational standard and send their children abroad to school because they know what they are offering to the masses are nothing to write home about that is why Africa and its countries are known to be a third world country, consumer of intellectual property and not creating anything, high level of prostitution, increase unemployment etc. Your governor offered you imolites free education at the expense of the students and enriching the purse of the teachers. Hardly do students take 3 subjects in a day in majority of the government secondary school, teachers dont come early to school, some dont come at all, those that comes dont teach and those that wants to teach, are being walked out by students: this is educational decay compare to free education between 1960s to late 80s, this is not happening in the southwest where I schooled. Great Imolites has sold their educational birthright for negative political jingoistic by receiving #500naira every term all in the name of free education. The only industry in an oil producing state are Hotels here and there with no vacant rooms during the weekends then my question is, who are the once patronizing it? The future mothers of our beloved country. It is high time we rise as youth who are strength of the nation and take responsibilities that will bring positive change and following the path they have channelled for us. We can only do this by equiping ourselves books, studying history of leading countries of the world by deducing possible way out, making significant use of the internet, not minding the kind of education we are been offered in the country. If you believe, type yes we can!
