Around 10 years ago I made a decision that changed my life forever. Worried about my kids starting school and the possibility of dealing with bullies, I signed them up for martial arts. I had no idea that it would be me that embraced this art. Thanks to Sensei Gerry I decided to step out of my box and try this as a "workout" Little did I know that I would end up earning a coveted black belt which aside from my kids has to be one of my greatest accomplishments. Defensive Arts Training Centre embraced me and has become my family away from home. I recommend to all women to come out and join us in our kickboxing or martial arts classes. When you are surrounded by fellow participants who will encourage you to be better you will want to come all the time. Come out and change your life.
