Article of the Week THERE IS MORE TO IT By Oloriebi A boy and his father went to the market, after his father had made the purchases of what he need from the market, deciding that they should leave for home; the boy saw a flute and said his father should purchase it for him. His father, seeing the desire on his face said he will get him a flute not by buying it. The father and the boy left the market, on getting home they both went to the bush to cut down a tree and the wood gotten from it was fashioned into a nice flute for the boy. The boy was very grateful and happy that he never let the flute out of his sight when he is not playing it and when he played it, the sound that come out from it was enticing and pleasing to the ear. After the whole process the boy keep wondering, why would his father go through a lot of stress to get him a flute? One day he summoned enough courage and ask why, and the father responded by saying that; he helped him made a flute because he want it to be appreciate better and when he listens to the beautiful melody that comes from the sound of the flute; he does not only appreciate it but also appreciate it process of existence i.e from an ordinary wood of a tree comes this beautiful sound. So when you are going through transformation phase in life it is about to bring out the best part of you, thanks.
