Artificial Blue is a community that would discuss and make an understanding of MARDANGI, (masculinity). Too often gender issues are understood or side-lined as women’s issues only and we thereby ignore the fact that men too are an important part of the society. To bring about gender equality active involvement and support from men and boys is much needed. Considering masculinities will certainly help in not only understanding the traditional stereotype attached to men, but also help in promoting gender equality which is not about granting privileges to women while disempowering men, but is about creating approaches that benefit all, and thus creating a more socially just world.
