Artist challenge day 5 of 5 finds me cheating a little bit Ruth Mabee Rouleau. The throat/cold bug going around tapped me on the shoulder. So, curled up resting and determined not to be done-in by a bug, I decided to share various images I like...that are on my phone... Often this kind of random sorting and looking allows me to see things afresh and to make connections that I missed before. Left pic is an old fav 8 x 10 working title was Preparing for the holidays. Next image...guess the materials used?! In my heart I long to create installations/environments. If I had my way, I would fill a huge wall...imagine this 9 x 10 ft instead of inches (just a guess from memory.) Fantasy title: Industry. Next 6 pics are frames for mirrors...I should have been painting on canvas....but wanted to create some special original art on something practical. And finally, working through a brief period of abstract florals...the lamp. Now...who shall I challenge? Kim Schrag want to participate?
