As I am preparing to observe the Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur (Leviticus 23:27-28), I am wondering what Jesus/Yeshua would do regarding this year’s scheduling conflict. 1.Enter in with the larger Jewish community by following the rabbinic calendar which observed the day Friday night to Saturday night. 2.Observe the biblical calendar and fast from sundown tonight (Monday) to sundown tomorrow (Tuesday). 3.Observe a different time based on “personal convictions or new revelation”. 4.Eat, drink and be merry and say, “All of that Old Testament stuff was nailed to the cross”.
