As I was going through all my old stuff at my parents home, I came across essays/papers/admission statements, etc, about my goal in life, of one day becoming an optometrist that specializes in pediatrics and vision therapy. Some of my papers sounded childish while others sounded almost impossible to accomplish. Regardless, with the support of my family, especially my husband and my dad, I have gotten this far in life and have accomplished my goal...and starting next week, I will now have a full time CAREER (because its not a job when you love it) at a practice where I can see little kiddos and do vision therapy. As awesome as it was to have so may days off to just relax, Im just as excited about going to work
