As I was riding around the city in my 1971 Monte Carlo with loud mufflers and shining rims and my hat turned backwards, I saw people looking over in my car as I can only image their thoughts. I dont look like the typical pastor, always dressed to impress but Im so free. Free to worship. Free to drive what I like. Free to wear what I want. Free to be me. Thank God I no longer have to worry about how others view me. God knows this heart of mine. If I was unsaved driving the same car, same hat turned backwards, I wonder how many people would even try to witness to me. Religion has people so messed up, that we feel one has to look at certain way to be a certain thing. Dont forget the Pharisees wore long robes with tassels on them, with phylactery boxes wrapped around their heads. They looked the part but their hearts were far from God. Some people are going to miss out on some great things in life because their narrow minds cant see past external things. Dont think that because your preference is not someone elses preference that yours is right and theirs is wrong. A preference is nothing more than something YOU prefer. Be blessed!
